The countertop was especially difficult to do because we realized that our reality of a “level world” in the boat was completely of our own making. We still needed to get the galley in, so we put the refrigerator, sink, and cook top in their place and began to steady the cabinets. The final work will need to be done once we are in the water.
So we got ready to finish the exterior painting and prepare to launch - - then the rains started again. We kept working but switched gears and did some intricate panel cutouts in the pilot house – but we are anxious to be in the water.
