We are really getting anxious now and the rains are slowing down our progress.
We did get the engine mounted (yeah!!!) and running (long story – everyone cheer) fuel injection is a wonderful thing. The engine is a Yamaha high thrust four stroke 60 hp with a 14” diameter prop – the entire outboard is designed for pushing heavy boats, at slow speeds, and should work great, We are expecting speeds of 7 to 9 knots with 5 to 6 gph.
The walls are painted light gray and it looks great with the white trim. The pedestal sink is in the bathroom and much of the electrical is hooked up.
